The 19th
Annual Great American Meatout at the Animal Protection Institute's
Veg Fest in Caesar Chavez Park on Thursday, May 1, 2003,
will be assisted by members of the Sacramento Vegetarian Society.
The Meatout
is an event that encourages people to give up eating meat
for one day. SVS and API will be joined by Vegan Action, Vegan
Outreach, Animal Place, Farm Sanctuary, VIVA and several other
